I like how quickly my week goes when I only have classes for a few hours a day. The whole college schedule suits me, I think. ugh..... just went to itch my eye and smudged lovely black liner everywhere. smooth. ANYWAYS. As I said, the week went by super quick. International Politics is good enough, I've got three new posters in my room (one Beatles Abbey Road, one Picasso, one that's the most emo thing ever with a little boy painting a heart and saying how he wished someone would sing along...) Walked around campus a total of probably three times while I was on the phone with matt (yeah, I'm one of those losers who just chats on her cell phone while obnoxiously oblivious to the fact that she's in the way) in an attempt to excercise and to make up for the fact that I was inside allllll day doing work. Not even tangible work, stuff like finishing a novel and reading about Greek nominative cases. BUT I had my interview with the director of financial aid who reminded me a great deal of my lovely Aunt Kath, and wrote my article, and emailed it to my editor because Blackboard flipped out on me. And I interviewed another professor for my next article and emailed the woman whose story I'm covering. yay for being a good cub. I also became brave enough to ask for a quessadilla at the sautee station. not brave enough for an actual sautee, but it's a start, I suppose. I'm now done with classes for the day, which is lovely and amazing, and have realized that my mondays and wednesdays are going to suck. Here's why:
Monday: English, Greek, FYS, followed by another hour of Greek, followed by chorale, followed by equestrian team meetings.
Wednesday: English, Greek, FYS, followed by chorale, followed by [wire] meetings, which basically means that I accept extra homework for nothing.
Still, I like those classes, I like the equestrian team, and I like writing. The chorale, I'm not so sure of, but we only have two classes every week, it's 1/2 credit to just show up, and we've only got two performances this semester. I'll deal. And sing.
hmmm... so, I'm going to attempt to visit my darling Jessica at Emerson today, and hopefully the T will not confuse me too much. I'm fine once I'm in the city, but I've only taken the commuter rail once, and that was with Matt's whole family who knew where they were going and so I was pretty much unable to screw it up.
Love,
